Most people believe that it’s important to look nice. However, some people say that we place too much importance on appearance and fashion. One will hardly disagree that it is pleasant to look at a person who is neatly and beautifully dressed. A person usually chooses clothes according to his or her age, social class, financial position and occupation. People also choose clothes according to their preferences and character.
To my mind, if a person wants to produce a good impression and to be successful, he or she must look nice. When people speak to you, they always pay attention to your appearance and your clothes. If you look sloppy and untidy, they will try to avoid you. There is a saying that “good clothes open all doors” and I quite agree with it.
But some people place too much importance on their appearance. They spend much money on expensive clothes and sometimes they look ridiculous trying to be fashionable. There are some styles that can surprise and even shock people such as punks, hippies or Goths. It looks strange when a person wears razor blades instead of earrings, dyes his or her hair bright red or purple or puts on shoes on enormous platform. Some teenagers are fond of bright make-up, black fingernails, scruffy long hair or baggy clothes. But I think it is silly to slavishly follow the current fashions.
In conclusion, I’d like to say that nowadays fashion becomes even more influential than it was in the past. It effects and moulds public taste. I believe that people should follow fashion and pay attention to their appearance, but it should never become a kind of obsession.

Furthermore, doctors warn people against possible dangers of tattooing and piercing including bacterial infection and allergic reactions. These procedures are painful and risky. However, some young people say that their tattoos and piercing make them feel attractive and rebellious. They also believe that body art gives them an opportunity to show their individuality. Anyway, when you are invited to a firm for a job interview, you can hide your tattoos and remove all jewellery. But I still believe that body art is unsightly.
To ccmclude, tastes differ. You may admire the huge dragon on your back, but your relatives, friends and colleagues may dislike it. If you want to improve your job prospects and to stay healthy, you’d better leave your body unadorned.

Придерживайтесь формального стиля письма. Помните, что сокращения типа don’t, can’t, I’m, it’s – это не формальный стиль. Также избегайте восклицательных знаков, что тоже не соответствует нейтральности формального стиля. Следите за лексикой и не используйте таких фраз, как: well, to tell the truth и др. Эти фразы не соответствуют формальному стилю.
Разделите ваше эссе (сочинение) на несколько логических частей (абзацев). В первом абзаце представьте проблему, которую будете рассматривать в эссе. Чтобы правильно это сделать, переформулируйте тему. Не повторяйте тему, а переформулируйте ее!

Приветствую под конец рабочей недели, друзья! Решила все- таки сделать серию женских постов, про женщин и для женщин. Почему? Да, потому что я - женщина. Сегодня хочу поговорить о моде на английском, так как про и я уже писала. Существует ли мода как таковая или же все- таки это что — то нам навязанное обществом? По истории, очень четко прослеживаются тенденции моды, самые разные. В настоящее же время я наблюдаю только моду на айфоны и технику.

Мода на одежду стала очень размытой, унисекс, а для кого — то приобрела уникальность. Уникальные дизайнеры - уникальная мода, следовательно никто не может назвать меня немодной, даже если я одену японское кимоно или русский сарафан. Есть уникальные дизайнеры. Есть уникальный стиль. Думаю, что нет слова «модно», есть подходит тебе по энергетике и внешности или не подходит. Сейчас я наблюдаю размытость стиля. Все как одинаковые. То есть стиль есть - но он один. Особенно западный стиль.

Давайте разберем, что конкретно относится к моде:

Are you a fashionista ?

Fashionista - слово для тех, кто очень любит моду и следует всем тенденциям. Помните эту ужасную моду на вытянутые шапки (beanie hats ) реперов — лыжников? А ведь она была. Вы знали, что это шапка бедняков — строителей, которая потом пришла в стиль? Я- нет.

Стиль рэперов принес нам streetstyle или впоследствии более огламуренный casual (небрежный) style.

Conservative style . Консервативный стиль. Представляете, это уже считается консервативным.

High street fashion. Это что- то модное и все в этом ходят и также доступное (affordable ) и модное (trendy ).

Thriftshop (Second hand). Одежда секонд- хэнд, где можно найти много интересного, но думаю лучше в это не одеваться.

Vintage style . Стиль винтаж Обычно он Old (Старый) , Classic (Классический) , Good quality (Хорошего качества) и они конечно Quite costly (достаточно дорогие) . Ну это моя любимая по своим песням, которая балансирует между дорогим стилем и casual.

Classic style. Как правило timeless (вне времени).

Romantic style. Романтический стиль

Stylish, Chick - означает «Стильный». Несмотря, что «Chick » похоже на курочку.

Trend setter - Законодатель моды. То есть, в принципе, любой человек, может начать носить перья курицы на голове и это может войти в тренд.

At the event, Paris personally helped to style each of her fans. Another motivating factor is fashion magazines. Teens want to look like glamorous cover-girls and muscular sun-tanned guys. Moreover, children are reflections of their parents. That is why most of teenagers adopt the same style of garments that their parents wear. It is necessary to mention that many teenagers rebel against their parents by wearing outrageous clothes and hairstyles. This is especially true for scandalous clothing and piercings. Besides, by wearing a style associated with a particular group, many teenagers feel they belong to that group. For instance, one of the latest teenagers" trends in fashion is the EMO style which is characterized by a mixture of gothic and punk styles. Emos have black dyed hair with brightly colored highlights and piercings on weird places like lips, tongue or eyebrows. They prefer brightly colored clothes, which help them to stand out in a crowd.

Nowadays there are many styles of clothing. So, clothes and colors should fit the occasion when they are worn. In the wardrobe of every teenager there should be casual clothing, school uniforms, sportswear, house wear, sleeping garments and Sunday wear. For instance, school uniforms should be simple and comfortable. Students must shine with their knowledge and exert themselves rather than organize a fashion show. School uniforms prevent bullying among peers, because all the students are wearing the same outfit and no one is left standing out. So, if your parents can"t afford to spend 16,000 rubles on a pair of brand-name jeans, there is no reason for worries anymore.

As far as I am concerned, I prefer casual style in clothes. I tend to wear jeans, T-shirts, sneakers and rompers. The most important thing for me is to look stylish, no matter how much money I can spend for my clothes. As is known, accessories have played a key role in fashion since ancient times. So, if you want to be a standout, simply put on attractive and appropriate fashion accessories, such as bracelets, rings, necklaces or watches. Besides, if you have a good hand in mixing different colors and know much about latest trends in fashion, you can create unique and chic fashion look yourself without the help of a professional stylist.

На сегодняшний день существует множество стилей одежды. Однако вещи и цвета должны всегда соответствовать случаю, по которым их надевают. В гардеробе каждого подростка должна быть повседневная и выходная одежда, школьная форма, спортивная и домашняя одежда, а также одежда для дома и сна. К примеру, школьная форма должна быть неброской и удобной. Ведь ученики должны выделяться знаниями и проявлять себя в учебе, а не устраивать показ мод. Школьная форма может предотвратить издевательства со стороны сверстников, поскольку все учащиеся будут носить одинаковую одежду, и никто не будет выделяться. Итак, если ваши родители не могут позволить себе потратить шестнадцать тысяч рублей на пару брендовых джинсов, у вас больше нет повода для беспокойств.

Что касается меня, то я предпочитаю повседневный стиль в одежде «кэжуал». Я люблю носить джинсы, футболки, кеды и комбинезоны. Самое важное для меня - это выглядеть стильно, и не важно, сколько денег я могу потратить на одежду Как известно, аксессуары еще с античных времен играли ключевую роль в моде. Поэтому, если вы хотите выделиться, просто наденьте яркие и соответствующие по стилю модные аксессуары, такие как браслеты, кольца, ожерелья или часы. Кроме всего прочего, если вы умеете сочетать цвета и знаете о последних тенденциях моды, вы сможете создать свой элегантный и уникальный образ, даже не прибегая к помощи профессионального стилиста.

My favourite clothes are sportswear. Also, I like zippered jacket. My casual clothes are sports trousers or jeans with long sleeved T-shirt. My shoes are black trainers.

I wear a school uniform at school. These are black trousers, a blue shirt and a black jacket. I wear my hat only in winter, when it’s cold.

I don’t follow fashion because clothes’ quality is more important then style.
